What will start with a transformed Commerce Building could blossom into a four-block West Texas A&M University campus in downtown Amarillo.
“The vision is we wouldn’t stop with one building,” WT President J. Patrick O’Brien said while showing concept drawings to members of the Amarillo Economic Development Corp. Board of Directors on Wednesday. “Don’t get fixated on exactly where things are now.”
